Account and data deletion
Effective: 23 October 2026
Request deletion of your Corpus account and associated data. Corpus is provided by Corpus Labs Private Limited.
1. Request account deletion
- Email contact@corpuslabs.in with the subject Corpus account deletion.
- Include the phone number or email address registered with your Corpus account so we can identify it.
- Our support team will verify that the request comes from the account owner before processing it.
Do not send your PIN, one-time verification codes, passwords or financial statements with the request.
2. What is deleted
When your verified request is processed, we close your Corpus account, disconnect linked services and delete the associated account data, except for the records retained below. This includes:
- account and profile information;
- uploaded statements and portfolio information;
- chats, uploaded chat files, card and subscription data; and
- stored Gmail credentials, imported message data and Gmail-derived insights.
3. What is retained and for how long
- Security and login-provider records: up to 30 days after account closure.
- Financial audit and transaction logs: five years from the relevant record or transaction date.
Retained records are restricted to security, audit, compliance and dispute-resolution purposes and are deleted when the applicable retention period ends. The five-year period applies to financial audit and transaction logs, rather than uploaded statements or the entire portfolio.
4. Delete particular data and keep your account
You can also request deletion of particular data without closing your Corpus account. Email contact@corpuslabs.in with the subject Corpus data deletion, identify your registered account and describe the data you want deleted. The same identity checks and retention exceptions apply.
5. Linked services
Deleting your Corpus account does not delete messages from your Gmail account or close accounts you hold with financial institutions. You can also revoke Corpus's Gmail access in your Google Account permissions.
Read our Privacy Policy for more information about how Corpus handles your data.
